Welcome to the 2025-26 Pentucket Youth Basketball Season!

 

Please see below for important information regarding tryouts;

*The location and time for the 7th & 8th Grade Boys on October 6th has been changed to the High School

 

ELIGIBILITY: In order to participate in Pentucket Youth Basketball, a player must reside in or attend schools in the towns of Groveland, Merrimac or West Newbury. 

COST: $300 plus uniform (if needed)

REGISTRATION:  Full payment for the season in the amount of $300 is required in order to attend tryouts. Should a player placement not be made, a full refund will be provided. Please click the “Register Now” button and complete the registration until payment is accepted.

 

EVALUATIONS:  Evaluations for each grade level will be held as follows: 

 

BOYS:

September 29th: Bagnall School

5th Grade Boys-6:00-7:00

6th Grade Boys-7:00-8:00

 

September 29th:Page School

7th Grade Boys-6:00-7:00

8th Grade Boys-7:00-8:00

 

October 6th: Bagnall School

5th Grade Boys-6:00-7:00

6th Grade Boys-7:00-8:00

 

October 6th-High School

7th Grade Boys-6:30-7:30

8th Grade Boys-7:30-8:30

 

GIRLS:

October 1st: Page School

7th/8th Grade Girls-5:45-6:45

**All prospective players are required to attend at least one evaluation, however attendance at two is highly encouraged.  We will use fully independent evaluators that do not have a child in the grade they evaluate.  All evaluators have been involved in youth basketball for many years with playing, coaching and/or officiating experience at multiple levels.  Parents will be notified accordingly in mid-October.
